A storm is coming to Music City — and it’s not just the weather.
The brand-new ABC series “9-1-1: Nashville” is set to bring chaos, courage, and country grit to television screens this fall. The Ryan Murphy-produced spinoff premieres October 9 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC, with next-day streaming on Hulu.
The high-stakes drama kicks off with a Nashville-style disaster: a firenado (yes, a tornado made of fire) tearing across Broadway, an Airstream trailer flying off the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge, and first responders rushing to save lives in the middle of it all.
But the real storm? The secrets, lies, and family drama brewing inside Fire Station 113.
Welcome to Fire Station 113
The “9-1-1: Nashville” cast includes some major star power — led by Chris O’Donnell (NCIS: Los Angeles) as Captain Don Hart. The series also stars Juani Feliz, LeAnn Rimes, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and newcomer Hunter McVey.
Filming for “9-1-1: Nashville” takes place in Nashville’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood, where producers transformed a brick warehouse into a fully functional firehouse.
“I love it. Nashville’s such a cool city,” said Chris O’Donnell. “This has been an insane summer — I’ve never seen so much lightning! Everyone’s so nice, and there’s just so much happening here.”
The show is more than just entertainment — it’s a huge boost for Tennessee’s film industry. The Tennessee Entertainment Commission confirmed that “9-1-1: Nashville” is generating over $50 million in local impact and creating more than 600 jobs.
Behind the Flames: Real Bonds, Real Drama
Even though the emergencies are scripted, the 9-1-1: Nashville cast shares real chemistry.
“Our love language on set is making fun of each other,” said Juani Feliz, who plays Roxie Alba, a former surgeon turned paramedic.
LeAnn Rimes shines as Dixie Bennings, a single mom balancing love and manipulation.
Hailey Kilgore brings charm as Taylor Thompson, a firefighter with a hidden talent for songwriting.
Hunter McVey plays Blue Bennings, Dixie’s troublemaking son with a big heart.
Michael Provost takes on the role of Ryan Hart, Captain Don’s son struggling to find his place in his father’s shadow.
Even Kimberly Williams-Paisley (who plays 9-1-1 operator Cammie Raleigh) hinted at a possible cameo from her husband, country superstar Brad Paisley.
“Let’s give him an emergency so I can help rescue him,” she joked.
Nashville Steals the Spotlight
“9-1-1: Nashville” treats Nashville itself as a character — capturing the city’s iconic Broadway lights, local diners, rolling hills, and country music culture.
The cast says the show mirrors the spirit of the city perfectly.
“Nashville is like its own personality,” Juani Feliz shared. “People come here to have a good time, and that’s exactly what you’ll feel watching this show.”
The series also celebrates local talent — Nashville extras have been cast as concertgoers, tourists, and everyday heroes through Jenny Alison Casting.
Guest Stars, Cameos & Country Legends
Confirmed guest appearances include country music star Kane Brown and WKRN meteorologist Danielle Breezy, both playing themselves.
The 9-1-1: Nashville cast also revealed their dream cameos:
- LeAnn Rimes wants Dolly Parton.
- Juani Feliz says Reba McEntire.
- Michael Provost and Hailey Kilgore agree Shaboozey or Rascal Flatts would fit right in.
- Kimberly Williams-Paisley (again) wouldn’t mind seeing Brad Paisley show up in uniform.
The Legacy Continues
This new Ryan Murphy spinoff follows the success of 9-1-1 (Los Angeles) and 9-1-1: Lone Star (Austin) — but with a unique Southern twist.
Thirteen years after ABC’s original “Nashville” series turned the city into a global icon, “9-1-1: Nashville” is bringing the spotlight back — complete with fire, family, and music.
“It’s a new family for fans to fall in love with,” Juani Feliz teased. “Thursdays at 9 — you don’t want to miss
