Taylor Swift is back with another huge surprise for her fans! During her appearance on Good Morning America on October 13, Taylor revealed that she’s releasing a six-part docuseries called “The End of an Era.” The show will give fans a close look at her life during the Eras Tour — showing how the concerts were made, what went on behind the scenes, and how the tour became one of the biggest music events in history.
Each episode will dive into different moments of the tour, and fans will get to see never-before-seen clips and emotional behind-the-scenes footage. The first two episodes drop on December 12, and new ones will follow every week.
That’s not all — on the same day, Taylor will also release “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The Final Show,” which is a live recording of her last concert in Vancouver, Canada on December 8, 2024. This film will feature songs from her hit albums, including “The Tortured Poets Department,” which wasn’t part of the first Eras Tour movie since the album came out later.

This new announcement comes right after Taylor dropped her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on October 3.
The album instantly broke records, becoming Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day in 2025.
To celebrate the album release, Taylor also held an exclusive event in AMC movie theaters called The Official Release Party of a Showgirl. Fans who attended got to see lyric videos for every song and the first look at the music video for her new single, “The Fate of Ophelia.”

An insider told People magazine that Taylor is “really excited” to start this next chapter. “She’s been super focused on work and now wants to take a break to plan the wedding,” they said.
Taylor was also seen supporting Travis at his recent game on October 12 at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs beat the Detroit Lions. She cheered beside Travis’ parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, and WNBA star Caitlin Clark.
